Started on my new machine night but did fairly well considering have never built one before. Still ways to go. I did e-mail you from your site twice not sure if it made it through? Suspect your new machine is throwing out 25k points/day.

No. I suspect that I have a bit of a jail-break today. I probably will not be adding any more crunching power this year anyway. It seems that I am going to easily exceed my original goal for 2010.

Judson.. That is really a mystery. I have not seen the emails.. I just went and tested it by sending a message from the site and I got it.

I just set up a temporary email address for you to use. fubar@ ....

This email will only work for a day or two.

I wish I could look over your shoulder and help with the assembly. It wasn't too awful long ago that I assembled my first one. It gets easier.

I had a bunch of website work come in today..working late.

Not sure if you saw my earlier post as though I did not mention how much of a pain it was I struggled for months with this same problem on one of my machines. The/my earlier post addresses how I solved my issue with that error message. May or may not work for you.
Otherwise I am in the process of moving my office so my numbers may be down for a while. Also waiting for all my parts to come in for my new computer.

Thanks for the info. I am looking at that software . If this is CPU overheating issue , then I can play with CPU settings to see if it helps.

Yes, the work pays pretty well and I don't mind it that much; sometimes I even like it. And, it keeps me out of the bars.

My wife complians to other folks what my WCG hobby takes in terms of time and money. Often she hears "...well at least he is not out chasing women and drinking...". She told me the other day that she thinks it might be better if I just get a girlfriend. I think she was kidding. thinking

Darn*, I just recently changed my new machine not to download additional work in advance so that I could play around with configuring different profiles to work different projects. Now that this communication bug has happened, System Idle Process has way too much CPU Time on it's hands -_-
