Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

It’s proposal time again...

Proposal, glass half full:

Job: Once we land this contract, we'll be rich!
Grant: This will give us enough money to buy [______]
Marriage: I'm marrying somebody that makes Adriana Lima look like a cow/Tom Cruise look like Barney Fife!

Proposal, glass half empty:

Job: If we don't get this job, it's bankruptcy for sure.
Grant: I'll never get tenure if I can't attract grants.
Marriage: OMG - what if she turns out to be the reincarnation of Leona Helmsley/he turns out to be Dick Cheney's long lost evil twin?

tongue

(Edit: Realized I was being sexist through exclusion. biggrin )

Some good news: Johannes won the IBM-Löwdin Award and will present his work on the Clean Energy Project at the 53rd Sanibel Symposium in February.

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

Our collaboration with colleagues at Johns Hopkins University is starting to take off. The group of Prof. Mueller develops model Hamiltonian approaches and this promises to be a most exciting complement to our DFT work in CEP. Cannot wait to get into the details on this joint enterprise.

Roberto was so nice to update our Youtube Channel. The biggest challenge as always – remembering the password.

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

We want to use the opportunity today to send a big “Thank you!” to our community advisors who carry so much weight in the CEP forum. You guys are great and We couldn’t do CEP without your support!
