Good Morning Everyone.

Great day today. Messing with the Granddaughters. Right now we are "decorating" Gingerbread houses.

I will be doing the same next weekend. It's an annual ritual and I wouldn't miss it for anything. My oldest grandson said he will pass on building and help me 'supervise" the girls this year. He just turned 14 and building gingerbread houses is no longer 'cool." Man I'm gettin'old. nerd

Re: smilesmile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 47 smilesmile

Keithhenry and RT, thanks and as it was only one machine not sure why it decided to misbehave. I made the change but still seeing that issue. Do I need to run other projects on that machine and limit CEP-2 on it? I will switch it to home while all other machines are listed at work and put other projects on that listing ie home to see if it helps. Currently only have CEP-2 working on it. Hope all had a great Thanksgiving for those who celebrate it!

It is hard to tell what is going on. Doing as you describe, (swithching that one machine from one device profile to another and changing the projects on that new profile) sounds like a good next step to isolating the problem. On the "home" profile make sure you have the at most use xx processors or percentage set high as well as the one thing mentioned above set correctly. If that keeps the machine busy, then we will figure out where to go from there. If worst comes to worst there is a mechanism that we can use for me to logon to your machine from my place while you watch and I can poke around and see if I can find the problem.

Today it is off to the Maul (spelled that way intentionally) with my wife, daughter, and two granddaughters. I serve several functions on these forays into the maelstrom: financer, chauffeur, and pack mule. Still it is fun.

Judson, check the memory on that machine. CEP2 can use a good bit. If your computer is seeing all of the memory, check task manager and see if you're paging. CEP2 doesn't checkpoint near as often as the other projects so you want to make sure BOINC isn't switching between WUs either. The latest BOINC also seems to leave tasks in memory whether you want it to or not.
