Working on a remote machine and took all resources offline yesterday therefore missed the deadline last night...BTW BTI good news is we should see a whopping hit today!!!

If I get more awake [need an after breakfast nap], I might see about hooking things up directly to the router and tinkering with the problem children. If I can get the plague carrier back on line, might give us a boost. Cold and sprinkling wet blowing stuff down here. 56F and not getting much warmer. No orb. Good day to burrow back under the duvet and hit the reset button! |

Merci! Posting from the plague carrier, where our Windoze Defender has already killed a VERY nasty [rated Severe] and I've had to prune programs severely. Wireless drivers are still dead, but I'm hoping something reappears in the hours and hours of downloads ahead of me. Seems the Persian Diversion turned off the updates near the start of the year and didn't turn them back on, then forgot to keep the virus checker that was on the machine at the time current. In the process of doing mop up before I put BOINC on and put the other children back on line after a final check for hidden nasties.
I'm sitting here in my bunny slippers having a giggle that I, yes MOI, am someone else's tech goddess for real!! <snicker> The good news is, once the plague carrier is crunching, we'll have a 2.2gig dually munching under my account. HOO-rah! Soon as I get the printer drivers loaded again [don't ask!] I'll print out the above and put it in my DON'T LOSE file of useful info. |

The good news is, once the plague carrier is crunching, we'll have a 2.2gig dually munching under my account. HOO-rah! Remember that "System Restore" is a good thing... GP IF you can bring that monster online and get it producing; I'll throw my entire farm on your account for the duration of the Trek, I'm serious...it's all for the better good and under your account is as good as under mine!!!! |

8 more Windoze updates and I think we're in business. 2 drivers are hosed, but nothing we can't walk thru via Skype, I bet. Soon as these download and I give it one last scan, I'm puttin' BOINC on 'er and letting rip. So look forward to it coming online. I'll tell you what name to look for [it won't be Plague Carrier!] but I'm betting you see the jump in my stats first.

One monster, up and running. Kicked the tires and lit the fires. Keep an eye on the stats. Given the computer name, I'm guessing you'll spot it rather quck. <snicker> I'm starting to bring the others back on line. Looks like I killed the plague AND got it crunching.
