GP unless you have eased up on the throttle it's still running 100%... a blast of air wouldn't hurt it; lappies have small radiators...
----------------------------------------BTW #1 Quads identical twin will be joining it as wing man in an hour or two...more to follow (we'll be the ones @ your 6 O'clock and coming fast...we're friendlies, don't engage  )ALL in formation...you should see some movement tomorrow or the next day; there is a strong possibility that some Drones may join in the next few days/week or so, just have to see what volunteers for service!! we won't be in the 100K/day Credit class; but 6K shouldn't be too difficult once everything is stabilized...at least 5K/day Boinc Credits    [Edit 1 times, last edit by Sport at Dec 15, 2010 12:08:01 AM] |

Automatic targeting is disengaged, Sport. Approach at will but watch out for that one lappie hanging out the starboard side. No telling what kind of FOD, chaff, flares or critters might be lurking in there.

Well let me toss a few real world thank yous your direction, just to keep it real. Being a good teacher, you're turning your Tech Goddess into someone who can salvage the not too badly hosed up machines and turn 'em into crunchers.
I'll find out how I did when the previous user shows up to copy his files and we find out how corrupted they got in the process. But the machine is WORKING rather than a black screen of death. And the virus/security checker says it's all clear. So I'm feeling pretty darn good. |

Looks like Sport just punched the Ident button on another cruncher for my squadron...
Plague carrier is settling in nicely. Still running fans flat out compared to the newer model of similar machine sitting next to it. 'Course, we don't know where all the Persian Diversion had it to pick up who knows what. |

Hypernova, we are feeling the acceleration, looks like the G meter is pegged out. All on 20 machines....that is scary fast. Waiting on the lottery to get a crunch farm like you have going.  I have a I7 Q720 on the laptop but your 6 cores (12 threads) sure put out some good numbers. |

Hmm. I lived in Austria when I was 14 but mine's beyond rusty into nonexistant. Fond memories of when the US dollar was still worth something.
Got to do some rearranging here and see if I can get a desktop dually back into the fray. So many clunkers, so few connectors. I wonder what happens if I use this cable.../? |
