My friend Mona just entered the Hospice system. In case we need any further reminder why we crunch... Very sorry to hear about your friend. I personally know how hard that is on everyone. Prayers going out. Hope you got some rain today. We got a pretty good soaking here today in Mickeytown.

Thanks. Kinda made the day go downhill fast.
Nope. All I got was clouds and we're in dire need of something to put out all the fires around town. Seems to have divided and given our share to you and S Georgia. At least I was able to open the back door and air out the house a little. |

Sorry to hear about Mona; I know you've shared her situation before!

I don't know where I'll stand as for crunching; I took a Power Surge that fried my UPS, KVM and Keyboard....I've bandaged one machine but don't know the damage done to the rest until I can access them; the Lappies appear to have survived....a sad day in my world too; but not nearly as bad as Mona's   |

My friend Mona just entered the Hospice system. In case we need any further reminder why we crunch... I am sorry for Mona. She is living proof that there is still a long way to crunch for us to find new effective treatments for the benefit of all.  |

not to worry GP..all but one machine bandaged and accessible! Last machine has 10 days backlog and appears to be working on them!
----------------------------------------Hated to see a 1500 watt UPS go up in smoke; but better it than my Quads! KVM appears to have taken the brunt of the damage and they are relatively cheap.....hhmmm now that I think about it, I believe I have a 16 port USB KVM somewhere...an excuse to build more computers, ports to fill!!! |
