Re: "The survivors"

The Betas are also showing up here but only on the i7.
In the past it has taken forever to get 6-7 days on the scoreboard.
The dashboard shows Beta as Active, not Intermittent.

Re: "The survivors"

I've gotten 18 betas, most under an hour (one was only 10 minutes), but I just had 3 returned that were over 3 hours -- that will help bump up my time a bit!

Re: "The survivors"

dl1000v,
Are you a Suzuki motorcycle fan?

Yes RCC, biker fan in general. I have a DL1000, pretty cool bike. My main bike is a Kawasaki Concours 1400. Riding is my therapy. cool Can't wait for spring.

Little_Mermaid, Nice duck! I rode that bike last spring, awesome ride, but I only lasted about a half hour on it. The riding position was too aggressive for my aching old bones! A buddy of mine owns a white one, and we switched rides while on a biking trip in Virginia. I couldn't get him off my bike, it's affectionately known as "The Couch Missile".

Re: "The survivors"

I had a Kawasaki years ago, it would do 0-60 in 4 seconds.
Very difficult to hold on, only lost it once.

Was riding to work in the rain and it wouldn't stop, hit a stop sign and then a truck.
Minor damage, mostly my pride.
My only accident with the bike.

I arrived home late one night and turned the bike off and a motor was still running.
It was a motor but not mine. it was a policeman standing behind me and his patrol car was running.
Did I know how fast I was going when I went through that railroad crossing?
No.
Some multiple of the speed limit.
I didn't know he was there or I would have been a little more careful.
Did not get a ticket, just a verbal warning.

The bike was stolen on Valentines Day and I did not replace it.

Re: "The survivors"

uh-oh, rcc,
who would've thought ... tsk, tsk, tsk ....
dl1000 and maybe v for velocity
- now we all of a sudden have a possible explanation of your handle!
I'll copy your post to include in my next message to your co-Base Camper,
who incidentally rides in Virginia and owned a Kawasaki
which he turned into cash to aquire this one in addition to his other Ducati.
He is about to customise it for his own stature and temper
and he likes riding this time of year when it's cold .... brrrrr....

Re: "The survivors"

Lidl's Danish Headquarters answered my e-mail and/or my snail mail.
I prefer to have snail mail answers to mine such, and I may still have.

They told me that they still sell "First Class" 2x250 g coffee in all shops,
and that my favourite "Kenya-Guatemala-Columbia" unfortunately was discontinued.

What a miserable answer. I knew that! They further write:

Unfortunately we cannot help with information about which products Lidl's shops in Germany have.

Of course they could if they would. They just cannot be bothered.
No fighting spirit.
Lethargy.
I never was or wanted to be that lazy and indifferent when I serviced customers.
My reply - because I don't look mildly on customer service at this level - was
acidic

EDIT: You notice badges here in this nerdy hitech parlour cool
- he-he I all of a sudden have a new little mosquito tongue
- I get so happy when my cpus have strength for more than talk love struck

Re: "The survivors"

Yup! Good suggestion, grumpy
I was also surprised to suddenly see it there
and I have no idea how long it has been there.

Re: "The survivors"

dl1000v,
I was a bit younger and a whole lot more foolish back then.
Drinking was a way of life.
Partied every day.
At the time I lived in south Florida and could ride year round as they have two seasons; hot and hotter.
I would like to ride again but it has become very dangerous in this area as people don't see bikes.
They drive too fast for conditions and don't pay attention to the road.
I drive something a bit safer because of that, a F-350 DRW 4x4 V10 etc...
I do miss riding but don't think it is possible to buy a bike at this time.
