This has echoed in my mind ever since. Did I? Didn't I? Did I anyway?
I honestly don't think I did.
What I did was to try to get some basic and perfectly modest needs filled.
Now I'm puzzled. What if someone says "- but that you have to change"
- would that be a danger signal?

The weather here is great, we are having a winter that is without snow and ice.
It is like spring all winter.
The flowers are beginning to bloom because the warm weather has tricked them into believing it is time.
There is always a danger of frost so the fruit trees can be damaged if they bloom early.

We have had some new crunchers join and they are doing very good at collecting badges.
Occasionally we have a power cruncher stop by and have the team stats run up significantly.
dl100v is here now and he has a RAC that is equal to the rest of the team combined.
RAMMIE did one day shy of 7 years run time in about 3 weeks.
All of the base campers are always welcome here.

Dear Confused!
The thing I refer to lies maybe two months back in time
and much water has flown in the river bed since then.
I literally mean the fact that you said a while ago that you were happily married
- the third time around -
and that you "blamed" it on your and your spouse's ability to not try to change each other.
I sighed: Were it just that easy ....
- to which you replied it was!
And then I let you be in silence for some six days
making reservations at a café - a table for two - our hideaway when minor skirmishes lurk.
So, now I have a letter from someone who says he wants me to change things
- and you being a veteran spouse with a well oiled marriage due to no interference
I think would be the just right and experienced person to ask as to
whether this invitation to enforce changes should be seen as a danger signal.
I never changed anybody, BTW

Methinks that this is clearer now.
I stand by the story as it was told.
Your life will indeed be easier if you find someone that fits your desires and then fall in love,
as opposed to falling in love with someone and then trying to change them to fit your desires.
People do not leave their comfort zone for long and they always slip back into it.
This is something learned in the school of hard knocks.
Also learned not to ignore warning signs.
Unfortunately there are people that do not have a conscience and silly me, I married two of them (not at the same time.)
