If you like astronomy I recommend Einstein's Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Cuda). WUs are fairly short and easy. If you want to keep with medical try GPUgrid. GPUgrid (cuda) tasks will take quite some time on long runs but the shorter tasks may work well for.your gpus.

There are several others too, if you are interested. ![]() ![]() |

To fix the - exit code -1073741515 (0xc0000135) install the AMD APP SDK. @Falconet, Just added a link to this post in the Start Here FAQ index, section 4 (Problem resolution) and 13 (GPU), for this error, but like to ask you to edit into that post the following: 1. The version, and if run time or developer 2. If this is part of the standard Catalyst kit (is it, what version?). 3. Link to the page where to fetch this. 4. Anything else of specific interest to this error. TIA --//-- |

That exit code is not specific to AMD. Might want to make that known, that is also not.the only solution to that specific code. Will post facts later, going to class.

I don't know if this is the right thread for this, but I'm planning on building a dedicated crunching PC and I was wondering if some of you with more experience can give me some suggestions.
I built one up at PCpartpicker: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/DHMl I'm planning on using a HD 7950 with a FX 8120. Do you think this is a good build for someone on a budget? (I'm hoping to keep it ~$800) Thanks! |
