Morning
----------------------------------------Maybe it's some behind the scenes work in preparation for tomorrow but at the moment no completed Work Units can be reported. It's most likely the reason that "Results Status" doesn't respond under "My Grid" Oh hum ![]() Port 3306 on the firewall Kevin ![]() Dave ![]() [Edit 3 times, last edit by David Autumns at Apr 4, 2012 5:05:15 PM] |

Morning,
----------------------------------------nearly the same problem here (seems to depend from another): 04.04.2012 08:29:12 | World Community Grid | Server can't open database

I confirm the [Apr 4, 2012 5:56:25 AM] post of David Autumns:
1] "Server can't open database" BOINC message. 2] "Results Status" webpage unable to open after the link is clicked. 3] "Ready to report" doneWUs can't be cleared. ; |

I noticed something as mentioned in a SN2S thread that the number of WUs in the PV jail increased suddenly last night and this morning that something on the server side might be brewing, looks like my guts feeling was probably right... ![]() Ralf ![]() |

Considering my machines will start going dry in just a couple hours the timing on this couldn't be worse. Guess I learned my lesson. No small cache allowed (that should get Sekerob's attention) ;)

No small cache allowed (that should get Sekerob's attention) ;) Well, on those hosts that where I now noticed the "can't open database" error, they are all stuffed with WUs for at least another 24h. Considering that it is now midnight here in this part of the US of A, I suspect we will get an update on the situation from knreed or one of the other guys by the time I get up again... Ralf ![]() |

Looks like something has finally gone bust. Chris. |
