Wouldn't EITHER of these problems make it a WCG related issue and not a BOINC issue? Or did I miss something?

I noticed something as mentioned in a SN2S thread that the number of WUs in the PV jail increased suddenly last night and this morning that something on the server side might be brewing, looks like my guts feeling was probably right...  Ralf Yes also noticed yesterday server had slowed.Took 8/10 hours to validate gfam and sn2s wu.s where both had completed also did not pick up for over 24 hours wus where the wingman had errored so no resends. about a day and a half of CCW still setting in PV and all of my clean energy and SNL are in pv since last night pluss a few more.

Regarding the question about giving people trash to crunch to keep us occupied, that has only ever happened on one project that I know of (United Devices/Grid.org) and it resulted in a full blown revolt and mass exodus amongst the crunchers. There's no way on Earth WCG would be stupid enough to do that. Since I've been with this project (after leaving that other one as it happens) WCG has consistently been orders of magnitude more transparent and honest with people than "that other place". The folk who complain about lack of information here seriously have no idea how good they have it.  Currently being moderated under false pretences |
