Hi y'all, I really am amongst friends here!!!!
----------------------------------------BTW the servers work here Yo VaioGRX616 that's why I'm here - sick of too much down time and unstable servers. Do some real work here while we wait for UD to sort their problem properly and get some decent cancer work to do. Run Boerni's stat box and star generator

WCG only gives ya' 250 characters. He can tinker with that stat link to get the text, background, colors and stars the way he wants.

----------------------------------------As small as that number is compared to the Vaio-beast, 34 is the 4th highest results ever for this team. (In addition to a couple of 38, 41 were turned in while looking for the rodent on Groundhog Day.) When EvoDude gets fired up, we should show some more.

A some of you will know I just moved here from Grid.org, I am trying to setup my UDMonitor to cache results - 3.5 hrs per result on dial-up internet make it V. difficult to get a night's sleep without it.
 I originally used the copy of UDMon I used on Grid.org WU's and it accepted the work units coming in but would not open and close WCG agent itself. Thinking it was UDMon at fault I re-installed it (fortunately having kept the installer dl I originally downloaded) but this had the same result.  I then uninstalled all WCG software including UDMon and started again. After installing WCG software and before running it I downloaded a fresh copy of UDMon and installed it, in the same directory as WCG Agent(C:\program Files\WCG) setting it up to use cache with 3 slots. When I asked UDMon to run WCG agent it started and downloaded a WU into slot 1. On completion it tried to move to slot 2 but returned an error message saying a version of agent already running - slot 1 - which had not shut down to allow slot 2 to start. HELP - I have tried everything I know and don't understand why it is not reacting properly and don't have enough hair to be ripping any more out.  |
