Re: TEAM Vulture Central III

not quite...but it's still an impressive 4th highest effort, and we're still climbing with what we've got. 7 more results per day would do it.

Sorry for the error, my eyes aren't what they used to be. Maybe if we posted less and crunched more we could get 7 extra quite easily but I would miss all this fun here. wink

Hello EvoDude,
Shame not everybody has our sense of humo(u)r. Perhaps we should start our own story book thread allowing entry of multiple alliterations.

How would you like to start 'EvoDude's First Sentence Story Book'? Set the rules so that each person has to enter an entire sentence. Then you could be as alliterative as you want.

What, me, start a new game thread - scary. I need to think about that! Sounds like a good idea though.

Will work whilst wondering whether world wants W words.

Edit:- Finally got round to looking at what The Register actually is and the first story today (9th Aug.) is headlined 'The search for intelligence in Edinburgh' What a thankless task that must be - they are wasting their time 'cos there isn't any, the upturned wreck of a fishing boat adjacent to Holyrood park should convince anyone of that. wink

Re: TEAM Vulture Central III

I don't know much about all of that urbanity. My folks must have come from Bute, and named a place in Pennsylvania after it.

"folks" meaning folks before 1800. Bute probably didn't have many parts then.

You forget, we've had 'parts' over here for thousands of years wink

Bute is nice but IMO Arran is better - there's more to do on Arran.

"Events" on the Arran Tourist Board website only goes up to 31 July 2005. sad I must have missed out on beginning basket making and the Walk Up Goatfell. Oh well. Maybe next time.
