This makes our CPU tally almost as long as the age of Stonehenge, arguably one of the worlds first computers albeit with somewhat impure silicon and a speed measured in cycles per year! Thankfully our sacrifices to our computers are measured in time and money rather than virgin's blood - that's progress for you!

Overcast and windy here today (if you can imagine that with a temperature of 30C!). Possible lawn mowing later - always much better in cooler breezy conditions. Let's hope that this time I do not disturb a wasps nest - the little bu**ers (buzzers!) can fly faster than my tractor! Ouch!

Well it is that time of year when I wax lyrical about how good the Belfast Giants are this season. There has been a lot of changes this year with some very young players joining us. After watching them practise today, I am like a child a day before Christmas, impressed is probably the least I can say about them. We shall see what happens, remaining injury free is so important in this league. If/when the Giants win the league, I will buy all my WCG Team UK friends a beer.
