I shall be cheering the Belfast Giants enthusiastically. Never been to an ice hockey game. Welcome to the team ajm42... as you can see, it's not all about crunching! Welcome ajm42, it is great having new crunchers join our team. DC, There are 2 new Ice Hockey Teams this year, Guildford and Milton Keynes, not sure how close they are to you, maybe you can catch one of their games, preferably the Giants as visitors of course. The complete games schedule is on the Elite League website. If you ever get across the pond, I would gladly take you to a Giants game, that stands for everyone of course. If anyone is curious as to what Ice hockey is about, I have a video I can share, but it is not the same as being there.  |

Good morning all. I used to watch Ice hockey in Canada in 1984/5 whilst I was posted there for 7 months. Great sport... I was in Canada at that time. It was also the year that the Edmonton Oilers won their first Stanley Cup, they were a fantastic team that year. That team was voted as the best team in NHL history so far. Many, many good memories.
