This app simply does not handle a stop/restart very well at all. ................I NEVER stop/start anything and I have over a page of invalids  |

It seems that all those with restarts are running 6.10.58. I'm not disputing your observation, but I do have a counter-example. A wingman ran MCM1_ 0000117_ 8228_ 0 on 7.0.25 but his Result Log shows a restart and his status was Invalid. |

I'll put my hand up and say me to! I've had five invalids so far on two rigs that don't make errors on any other projects, the rigs are not O.C.ed & I don't run gpu projects on them just to count that out. One rig is an AMD x6 1055t running Ubuntu 10.04lts x64 / Boinc 5.10.58 - x64. The other is a i7 2700k running Ubuntu 12.04lts x32 / Boinc 7.0.27 x32. I'd be willing to just run betas only if the techs want to find out what is causing these invalids to pop up now with this project. I did get some betas and didn't have any problems. OT but if you installed Ubuntu x64 in that I7 you would get faster results on the Vina projects. MCM1's all from Windows machines Intel and most on AMD Opteron:
24 Invalid 182 Pending Validation 50 Pending Verification 223 Valid No machine more involved than others. |

This app simply does not handle a stop/restart very well at all. ................I NEVER stop/start anything and I have over a page of invalids Alan, did you have jobs that were pushed aside so that the initial onslaught of 3-day dealines could run in high priority mode? I got my first 3 invalids last night. All 3 had restarts while none of the wingmen had restarts. I just suspended a job (MCM1_0000256_5877_1) as a test. Let's see if it ends up as an invalid. I have all Intel CPUs running 6.10.58 under WinXP. Cheers   |

I've got 8 invalids now this morning, it's not the points lost but the time wasted.
 You don't get the time for the invalids added to your total do you. |
