Go ahead and try to get work again. Because of the transitioner changing work units this morning, we had a log jam of needing reliable work units. I have changed this setting and work should be flowing again.

Go ahead and try to get work again Thanks - downloading now.... Aborted 'stuck' WUs - but had to then stop and start BOINC to enable downloads to proceed... Just seen 'Server Aborted' for some of WUs that had downloaded before the crash (not overdue) EDIT: PV down to just 14 now,,,

They have now been marked from 'Too Late' to 'Invalid' - but have been credited - thanks Previous returns which had been marked 'other' are now valid The non-completed wingmen to my 'invalids' have been Server Aborted So the last two WUs for each should never have gone out - but did so because of the 'other' status - my systems were just too quick  to process...Just a fallout from the recent problem and have no more like this so far - thankfully... The filesystem is recovered and operational. We have enabled uploads, downloads and scheduler requests. Data is flowing in quickly. Prior to restoring service, we updated the database to reset results that had been incorrectly processed during the outage (and more importantly we have added some scripts to prevent that start up from happening again). Also - we have extended deadlines to account for the delayed availability;. Thanks for the technical details, knreed. As an IT worker and specially an IT enthusiast, could you please share a little more about your infrastructure? Virtual hardware, SO, database etc? If there is a public document about it could you share it as well? Please don't get mad if this is something already discussed but I returned to WCG a couple of days ago. Thanks in advance. What is going on? After 2 hrs of Uploads and Downloads restarting, the workdone field of the Project view has not updated since yesterday. Normally through the course of the day it updates as work is uploaded.
