I repeat: i know that researchers have a lot to do (writing a scientific paper, sometimes, means months of work), but 5 minutes to write somenthing like "Ehy guys, we are working on new app" or "Thanks for your partecipation. Preliminary results are great" may encurage volunteers to partecipate even more to this project...

I am also in into the so called "boycot".
Remember that many indivuduals = Community.
If thousand of crunching people suddenly run away form project X, it will be quite noticed.
Hopefully.

The point of having a grid computing community is to help out researchers to perform their work. IN this project, we are about helping to fight cancers for children.

Every result that we get is potentially a cure to all kinds of cancer. Boycotting because of no news or lack of news totally missed the point why we are here to do this together. Boycotting is only putting our children at risks and not help them to find a cure at all.

I agree that there should be more communication and news but playing mind games like that is only to put our children at even more risks.

In other case, join the boycott starting June 1st, 2018, and return when the situation has improved.
