It was a timing of chance that I was dealt my gold badge for this project today, Halo Jones.
![]() I understand your frustration. Communication is the salt of the earth if you ask me .... I don't do this boycott, but Mr Jones and I remember your Android help, so I decided to become your team mate for a bit instead. How do we communicate in my current team? ![]() ![]() |

So... no usseful information is given at all.
Only 5 mins are needesd so as volunteers are happy, knowing what are they doing. If they have no 5 mins, me neither. There are more projects to help humanity than this. |

Updates for this project take a bit longer because of the researchers extremely busy schedules, and the need to translate multiple drafts of the update from Japanese to English (and back). ErikaT I had lost this message. I do NOT want to think that English is a problem for a researcher!! |

It's interesting to read about the boycott as I came to the forum to see why so few SCC WUs are being given to me. I'm hardly receiving any on either my computer or my Android phone. It's not as bad as TB but not too good. Perhaps SCC is boycotting me.

It's not as bad as TB but not too good. Perhaps SCC is boycotting me. I do not know what's causing that since I get 20 WUs at once on an 8-thread processor. You might want to check your settings, if you can't seem to find anything, then you might not be that reliable. The more valid results you send, the more reliable you are, meaning you'll see lots of repair units being given to you. [Edit 1 times, last edit by DeliciousShoesHD at Sep 15, 2018 6:43:31 AM] |

Do you mean you get 20 SCC WUs once or just WUs? I ask because you aren't showing an SCC badge. I get lots of work units for other projects - Ebola more than all others combined recently, although today I hit my first sapphire with MCM which is nice.

I get 20 WUs at once and when I am done, I send a request for new twenty working units. Currently I am approaching my first SCC badge. You also have to note that calculating at higher speeds (I am done with one WU in 40-50 min) delays the badge acquisition, so you have to return more working units than normally.

I know this is off topic but here goes anyway. The speed at which you calculate is unrelated to the acquisition of the badges. The badges are based on computing time, not the number of units completed. Whether you have a fast machine or slow machine, both machines will earn a badge in the same amount of time ( given that they have the same number of cores.) Cheers
