Thank you, entity.
That is one of 3 consecutive unstuck units with 2 others in close proximity. Mike |

Mike,
Here’s another one: ARP1_0031383_093, time_step=36. Cheers, Mark |

Thank you, Mark.
Nearly all are 36 second, so to save time only 24 second (0.014%) units need to be differentiated. We now have only 28 units still stuck or not having moved since being unstuck. Mike |

Someone mentioned looking for statistics from slower CPUs. I have:
Core2 Duo e7400 at 2.8ghz: 5 units completed, with an average time just under 30.5 hours. This is pretty quick on single-core tasks because that processor doesn't have hyperthreading. Intel core i5 480m (~2011 with hyperthreading) at 2.67ghz: 54 units completed, just over 40.5 hours on average. Interestingly, this system reported a lot of invalid units, and was therefore removed from rotation even though the units seemed to be running to completion. Intel Core2 Duo t5270 at 1.4ghz: two units completed, barely under 62 hours on average (ARP *can* run on xp). This system picked up a couple accidentally - that's turned out to be a happy coincidence. From this, I would guess that my Pentium 4 (2.8ghz with hyperthreading) would complete units roughly between 80 and 100 hours, but haven't actually tested because it's an 85w chip. If we stretch the definition of a "guess" for amusement's sake, I would expect a Pentium 2 (350mhz) to complete a unit in around 800-1000 hours. I vaguely remember some very unscientific benchmarks putting it at about a tenth the speed of the aforementioned p4, but as the system in question has neither the network or ram to run a test, the truth will forever remain a mystery. |

I had not thought about trying a P4, but maybe I will. I have a P4 I have not run in at least several years, Maybe it will be a complete bust, bet when I get a chance and some ambition I think I will try it. (Just for one unit though !) Cheers

Mini update.
There are 124 units in the extreme range but only 101 registered as extreme, so 23 must be still stuck or not having moved since being unstuck. This number is falling steadily. Mike |

Mike,
I've now got ARP1_0033871_107, which I don’t think we’ve seen before. Cheers, Mark |
