Re: Work Available

Mini update/

The definitions of the leaders have moved on 1 generation to 133, 123 & 118.

There are 125 units in the extreme range of which 1 is a leftover from before the change and 105 listed as extreme, so only 19 are still stuck or have yet to move since being unstuck.

Re: Work Available

ARP_0034316_093_2 just landed in my queue. It'll be a while before it starts running, though.

Thank you. I would suggest that you reduce the size of your queue. The longer your queue is, the less likely it would be that your machine would be considered "reliable". The queuing time counts against the allowed time. ARP units are readily available but not necessarily immediately available.

I would suggest a queue of 1 extra unit or 25% of the ARPs allowed to crunch. So, for a 16 thread machine there should be a maximum of 8 threads crunching ARP and a maximum of 2 ARP units queuing.

That way your machine will be considered more reliable and the units will turn around faster.

Re: Work Available

I see lots of _2, _3, and accelerated units, so reliability isn't an issue. Queue settings are 0.1 day + 0.1 day, with six ARP units maximum at a time.

Re: Work Available

Currently running ARP1_0033632_108_2 at 0.021% increments, should be done in 12 hours :)

Re: Work Available

Mike,

I got ARP1_0033397_101_0 as part of a priority triplet.

Yet another 32-bit run! -- do we know whether some tasks are deliberately sent out 32-bit even if all recipients can run 64-bit?

Cheers - Al.

Re: Work Available

ARP_0034316_093_2 is up and running now, and I'm seeing .021% increments. It's at about 45.3% with about 6h 40m remaining.

ETA: It's a triplet with one system completed and no errors so far.

Re: Work Available

Thank you, Al.

That is an unstuck unit from adriverhoef's September thread.

I could only guess that the reason for 32 bit might be because one of the 3 machines is 32 bit.

Re: Work Available

Thank you, spRocket.

It seems that it was queuing for about 15 or 16 hours. It would be preferable for your queue to be shortened to improve availability.
