COVID-19 Pandemic
The journal American Psychologist has a special issue on the COVID-19 Pandemic. In particular, the article Ethical Considerations for Psychologists in the Time of COVID-19 is intended to provide guidance to psychologists who encounter ethical issues while offering services during the COVID-19 pandemic. Psychologists working across settings (e.g. private practice, hospitals, clinics, universities, colleges, research centers) and various roles (e.g. clinicians, scientists, educators, advocates) are likely to find the information contained in this article useful. The authors hope this article will encourage ethical decision making during these unprecedented times. Two fictional vignettes are presented. Psychologist Working in an Academic Setting and Clinician Transitioning to Telehealth. https://psycnet.apa.org/PsycARTICLES/journal/amp/75/5 ![]() |
