Is there still value for supporting this project since so many companies are showing results for working vaccines? What is the benefit of drugs treatment when you are immune to the disease? I'd rather have the treatment than vaccinces 'cause nobody knows there's any problem with these vaccines in the long run. Note that nobody knows there's any problem with the treatments in the long run yet either. Quite right. But I am a bit puzzled that the vaccines seem to be making great progress, in spite of their long and difficult testing process, as compared to the anti-virals, which seem to be lagging behind. I would think it would be easier and faster to screen the anti-virals in human trials. You have a fairly captive and willing audience, and you can see the results faster. Maybe they just did not start as many trials of the anti-virals? |
