queue appears to be back to relative normal, Uplinger.
----------------------------------------The queue isn't full, but it still occasionally requests for GPU only. If it becomes a problem, I'll let the queue empty and reinstall the client, saving us all trouble. Thanks for your help, and patience. ![]() |

So the summary looks to be
----------------------------------------1) You crunch and not only for WCG, but also Rosetta, maybe more 2) You've allowed GPU work to be fetched (has it's own buffer same size as the CPU buffer). Since there is no GPU work, the fetch request will be made with every server contact. 3) You get WCG CPU work when WCG has the highest fetch priority and then ltd to the number of WUs allowed per the device profile. 4) When WCG does not have the highest fetch priority, you wont see it attempting to fetch CPU work, but still trying to get GPU work and probably from any other active project attached to the client. 5) The device profile aka at other projects as location or venue that was last modified at any project is the one that is used for all projects v.v. the computing preferences IF local computing preferences were/are cleared. Conclusion: all is operationally normal. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Aug 4, 2020 8:22:21 AM] |
