WCG doesn't write the research software. The research software is provided by the research group. Asking (demanding) that WCG create the software is like flogging a dead horse. It may make you feel better, but it accomplishes nothing.

Intel desktop CPUs have included integrated graphics for years...until this year some new CPUs no longer include integrated graphics. But I've never owned one.  ...KRI please cancel all shadow-banning |

In the past 7 days 7,881,071 results have been processed meaning an average of 1,125,868.14 results are processed per day. Once the GPU client is released I would imagine these numbers could be tripled if not quadrupled. No will I am just guessing about how many results will be processed by GPU's

Time will tell...could be much more than just 4x especially if UH UIT HPC commits some of their GPU nodes.

I am wondering whether the researchers want them back so fast. On some projects, they have to do analysis as they come in. There may be a limit here.

Exciting stuff, I hope that other WCG projects eventually use GPUs too.
Has there been any update to when we could see GPU work or even a public Beta Test? |

Considering there has been over a million results a day returned for a considerable period of time I don't believe the speed that results are getting returned is an issue |
