May I disagree with your statement?

• It is always important to understand how a virus is working.
  
• It is as well important to be able to cure a disease because sometime vaccine is not working well on patient, because some patients cannot be vaccinated for some reasons.
  
• It is necessary to have multiple therapeutical resources available in particular in case of mutation or recombination with another virus(es).

Unfortunately, we need to be aware that 2020 is only the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 story which could be (very) long, including all future evolutions of this virus / virus family.
Likewise one single vaccine cannot be the only and unique solution, it is not recommended to focus the effort on vaccines without considering the ability to efficiently and safely cure infected patients.
We still need to work further on the OPN project without any kind of demotivation.
Nobody knows what the future will bring.

Unfortunately there is a big misunderstanding what this project is about
1) This isn't a race to see who's winning, it takes time to develop solutions
2) This project/effort isn't for a vaccine
3) This project is searching for candidates for the development of treatments for COVID-19 and future pandemics
4) The vaccine(s) being developed worldwide are only part of the whole solution.
5) Your negative post does not help in any way

With no WUs available from the GPUGRID project, now would be a good time to start releasing Open Pandemic WUs that run on the GPU. Is there an updated time timeline when this could begin to take place?
