It currently has a very long name starting 'wcgrid_beta29' - so that's likely to change when it's released for production use.

Thanks, Richard. No such file here yet. Probably because I didn't run any beta GPU work.

Also, I loaded the 368.22 nvidia driver, and Boinc does still show the GPU, and is now listing OpenCL 1.2!

I looked at the beta GPU app binary and it is OS specific. You'll need to change it like the CPU binary.

Curious as to what CPU you're using?

i7 Extreme 965 @ 3.2ghz quad core.
Not a screamer by today's standards, but it was top of the line in it's day.

While I am not trying to inflict Win10 on anyone, it is possible to upgrade.

And you need not pay the full price. If you have an unused Win7 license, you can usually use that and just enter its key. It works for me. Or you can buy an OEM key cheaply. It should work, but that is less certain.

I stayed with Win7 as long as possible, but found there were significant improvements in performance with Win10 in some cases. XP is really too old.

Do you have a link where you found that driver for XP? Everywhere I look it says that driver is for Win10.

Here is why I will never ever use Win10. And don't think that because this article is from 2016 that anything from MS has changed.

Here you go.........
Just fill in the blanks.

There is a win 10 version of 368.22 as well, but it is a different download.

Sure. Everyone uses O&O Shutup.
