What is the minimum supported hardware? I have several GT 710s that support Open CL 1.2 and got WUs but failed with errors. Driver is pretty new (this year) so don't think its that.

What is the minimum supported hardware? I have several GT 710s that support Open CL 1.2 and got WUs but failed with errors. Driver is pretty new (this year) so don't think its that.

Most 700 series cards do support OpenCl 1.2 but not all. The driver may say it supports 1.2 but the hardware on the card doesn't. Sounds like yours may fall into that area if all the tasks fail.

all GT 710s support opencl 1.2 at the hardware level. it's not just the driver.

please post the contents of the log that contains the error.

find a task in the list the produced an error. click the hyperlink (in the status column) to open up the log from that WU, copy and paste the contents here.

it would also help to know the relevant system info. motherboard/CPU/system memory, operating system, boinc version, driver version, etc. anything that could be useful.

that way we can try to see exactly what happened rather than just throwing out guesses.

There are only around 81,000 work units distributed every day so it's quite normal that a GPU is only getting 1 or 2 tasks a day or even none.

Reading this post I remembered I had one laying around, so I put it in an spare PCIe slot, the BOINC event log mentions:

So far I did not get any GPU jobs on this system, but if they might arrive I will report back if they result in any error.

I received some GPU workunits every day a few days ago, but I had to delete the project in the BOINC-Manager and add it again.
Since then (11th of April), I have not received a single GPU work unit (OPNG) but CPU work units are running fine. Did I do something wrong?
