@alanb1951: thanks for the information. I wasn't even aware that the transition to Krembil is not over yet. However, I would not consider it as "aggressive" feedback when pointing out that there is a major imbalance between size of task and credit for it. And that there is no one from the project people left who could look into this and take corrective action, is very unfortunate, of course. The reference to aggressive feedback wasn't based on anything in this thread (or anywhere else where folks are raising this issue) - it was based on the [lack of] quality in some of the feedback that arrived after the announcement of the transition and the introduction of the new web site! If that continues when we are in a position to try and get changes made again, it isn't going to help!!! I'm not averse to offering criticism (hopefully constructive, but I'm only human) but I don't need to use what football referees used to call "foul and abusive language" or call decisions stupid (or worse) and I don't see the need to insult the intelligence of people who work for WCG but don't necessarily have any control over what's being complained about... Briefly - transition is not over yet. System is ready - but migration will happen later, once the system fully configured, optimized and tested. Thus - the WCG continues to run as before. Optimizing credit for WU is not trivial. We have a tight deadline for the transition. It would not be wise to change things in the process. We will investigate the problem and try to correct the WU credit once we are fully migrate WCG to Krembil. thank you for your understanding and patience. Thank you for all the contribution. igor |
