About the only thing that has consistently worked since IBM ditched WCG and Krembil took over is the script that IBM implemented to remove members.

I wonder if stats sites like Free-DC https://stats.free-dc.org/proj/bwcg can recover historical stats ... Will ask there I would note that Free-DC does keep stats of purged users, and if you see a big general jump up by one position [edit: on BOINCstats], you can follow up to where it ends, look on Free-DC, and figure out who was the latest user to be deleted. Just to show you how ridiculous this "policy" is...

Still waiting for the points earned earlier.

Hi,
----------------------------------------just came back from holidays. House warming season is beginning here in north. Trying to get MCM WUs to crunch (or WUs for any project for that matter..) but have no luck. Are there any projects with plenty of WUs available? Also, added couple of new servers to crunching arsenal, but cannot assign deviece profiles for them on wcg web site. Is this (still) expected? |

Your "DEFAULT" profile will be used until you are able to assign the specific profile you want to the new devices.
MCM - has been active, ARP - they are attempting to get it functional using new parameters (which is covered in the more recent ARP thread). See here: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,46744 for more details on the various projects. Once the system "sees" your cruncher for about 3 or 4 days, it usually automatically becomes visible on the web site. However, it will show up in your RESULTS page shortly after the first WU has been received and processed. Happy Crunching! |

MCM1 is and has been the only active science these past 'few' weeks. According to the three Active projects, looking at OPN1, its last result was received on 2024-06-25, and looking at ARP1, its last result was received one year before that: 2023-06-02. There was one more project inbetween: SCC1, now intermittent; its last result was received last year, too, on 2023-10-28. Adri |
