So if we are out of the alpha stage... then we are into beta stage? I was hoping that this announcement would mean we would get more workunits of all kinds.
I'm not sure why they invited everyone back and made a big announcement. I told my friends to wait until they had more to send out. I don't want to deal with the disappointment of WCG not being as advertised. I'm still waiting to fire up multiple computers myself. Here's to hoping it will ramp up quickly. |

Yeah, from Alpha you go to Beta, and not from Alpha to full release.

Hmmm…
Only getting rare OPNG WU’s; Only ARP1 WU’s are resends every few days - by design to clear backlog? OPN1 and MCM are seem to be flowing ok. It also appears that HSTB and SCC remain in limbo - not yet released by scientists? MY CONTRIBUTION -> OVERVIEW -> CURRENT STREAK: recently changed from numeric ZERO to ONE YEAR - even though the notes indicate the value should be DAYS. Is this still a work-in-progress? Please advise |

I won't even bother to start my main GPU cruncher, until there is plenty of OPNG tasks available. I'm only crunching for WCG, I have no interest whatsoever in any other BOINC projects, or Folding@home.
So, until OPNG comes back in full, I just save lots of money on the electricity. |

When we will have new projects? :D Best to all Probably not yet, I hope. As others have commented, we have moved from Alpha and seem to have skipped beta to a "launch" despite what may be capacity problems with the return again of transient errors on download this afternoon (Monday French time). I assume some big batch of ARP or OPNG have been released. |

I have not noticed any OPNG but I DO have ARP1 WU sets struggling to download. And, of course, that appears to contribute to other WU’s struggles as well.
