The spigot seems to have been opened. I am no longer receiving a drip. However, no word from WCG/Jurisica/Krembil on the situation.

Work is either waiting to be created by the scientists, ready to sent to our devices, n progress, returned waiting validation/verification or returned as error or valid :-)

I notice all my current tasks are on their third attempt so presumably waiting for more work to be created again.

For at least 36 hours, the only tasks I have had have been _2 or _3 tasks so on third or fourth attempts. Is this because for some reason these tasks are failing on other computers, results between _0 and _1 not matching up or what?

Is this because for some reason these tasks are failing on other computers, To the best of my knowledge there is a rogue cluster which has been downloading numerous work units without ever returning any results. This is what has caused this rash of resends. See here Cheers

Like your edit I was seeing "no tasks available" up to half hour ago but from the Event Log I am now seeing: 27/09/2023 16:22:41 | World Community Grid | Scheduler request failed: HTTP service unavailable Not looking good! |

@Catchercradle It didn't look good ever since that supposed to be 1h outage lasted more than 2. Like your edit I was seeing "no tasks available" up to half hour ago but from the Event Log I am now seeing: 27/09/2023 16:22:41 | World Community Grid | Scheduler request failed: HTTP service unavailable Not looking good! Stats didn't run and there were issues with uploading and reporting already less than an hour later. And it got subsequently worse since... Ralf  |

Just got a bunch of tasks which will keep me going for another few hours but all _2 or _3 son on third or fourth attempt. Not sure how many normally need a third or fourth go as I have close to a 100% record on this box. Presumably if I looked I would find quite a few timed out. But with the length of time with all _2 or _3 tasks, there must be a dearth of new tasks going into the hopper.
