Re: Where's the Work?

If my computer could process 16 tasks in one hour, I was thinking, it could do 1600 tasks in 100 hours, but the client queue can only hold 1000 tasks, so let's narrow it down to 800 tasks (one half of 1600), which can then be run in 50 hours (one half of 100 hours), that's about two days' worth of tasks: 800 tasks will be processed in about two days. So such a computer could 'survive' an outage of - only - 2 days.

In "normal" times a 2 day cache should be sufficient, but, of course, these are not normal times with continuous supplies.

Re: Where's the Work?

Is there a link to a page that we can get information about the number of WU's there are?

Re: Where's the Work?

No, there isn't. WCG has never had the equivalent of the "Server Status" page that pretty much ALL other Boinc projects have.
