I'm only asking for MCM tasks. No interest whatsoever in the ARP project. Still lots of "Tasks are committed to other platforms". If I was running one of my faster computers, they would have been out of work often, since I only run a 12 hour cache.

As one can see from the first post. The WUs available in both projects are smaller than usual. I can understand them throttling the ARPs as they are a heavy load, but I'm not sure why the MCM are around half the usual amount.
Mike has put out his ARP sunday report https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewpostinthread?post=701548 It is sad to see that not all the blocks of data will make it to the finish line, but sometimes good science is figuring out where the problems are that need to be worked on for the next project. Hopefully they haven't given up on the data in the complex areas, and are still working on a solution as we will be processing the good data through 2025 and 2026, so they have 2 years to try out some more theories on how to process the "difficult" data. |

Don't give up on even the 3 ultras. In theory they could finish in 6 months once they restart.

Yeah, I hope ARP1 is able to finish in months and not years. Once I get my 20 year MCM1 badge (my first!), I'll switch 100% over to ARP1. Not because I'm passionate about the project (at least compared to human disease projects) but just want the project finished ASAP. The icing on the cake is it uses less electricity and generates less heat. It's already feeling like summer where I live in the US Southeast.
----------------------------------------Edit: I doubt WCG has given up on the stuck work units. They'll likely take a bit of manual intervention and babysitting.

I was not implying that ARP1 might finish in months. I said that it was theoretically possible that those 3 ultras stuck in generations 21 & 22 could finish in 6 months. If you read my Sunday Report in ARP you will see my current forecast is 2 years from now for the project. Mike |

Yeah I'm aware. I'd personally like to see it finish in months if they're able to scale up very aggressively.

ARP WUs seem to have stopped. I have an ARP WU that has all the copies returned, but it hasn't been processed. I'm not sure what is up with ARP.
MCM seems to be flowing well at the moment. |

ARP1 has not stopped but is very slow. My last download was 4 hours ago.

It looks as if the validator isn't running at the moment, and if that's the case there might be a knock-on effect into the work generation. I normally get about 24 tasks a day, but today I have only got 14, and most of those appeared before 08:00 UTC. My last ARP1 result to validate hit "ready to delete" around 06:15 UTC today, and since then every remaining ARP1 is either waiting for a wingman to return or is now stuck Pending Validation! Admittedly my sample size is relatively small, but I doubt that what I'm seeing is unique... Cheers - Al. |

The latest completed result that was validated for this moment, looking at my Valids, was returned at 2025-02-10T11:35:12 and that's 12 hours ago. The current time is:
$ date -u My devices are normally returning over 36 completed ARP1s per day. Adri |
