We made it to the Bronze Medal position, to our great surprise, let's see if we can make it Gold.

Impossible! There aint no such word in Yorkshire. You can bet I'm up for it Dave, and it looks like being a bumper day for Gremlin2 - 2,465 points so far today, if I did me sums right, and 6 hours still to go. I should hammer home another 2 results by midnight.

I am reminded of the tortoise and the hare. It certainly worked for us with some upstarts from back in April, didn't it? At one point they had what seemed like an insurmountable lead on us -- now they are down by several millions of points. Steady she goes, Cap'n -- the good ship MOT is on course.

Panthers lead game at the half

At the end of the 1st quarter, the Panthers were ahead by 7-0. First play of 2nd quarter Panthers got a field goal and lead by 10-0.

At the end of the first half, the Panthers are ahead now by 16-7. Just cracked my first homebrew biggrin

Enjoy the homebrew friend. I've never been able to follow American Football because of the strange rules, and all the time-outs. How the heck can you stop the game, just so you can have a natter with your mates.

12:05 left in the 3rd quarter, Bears score and get the point after. Score now 16-14, Panthers lead.

The homebrew is good biggrin

Panthers score a TD and make the extra point -- 23-14 Panthers lead. Third quarter ends -- only 15 minutes of playing time left!
