Re: Panthers lead game at the half

Good morning all. A new day, a new WU to be crunched.

Congratulations to our team mate, afurness on the 1/4 million points.

BD. As well as the homebrew having helped, I guess the home team winning didn't exactly dampen your enthusiasm.

Re: Panthers lead game at the half

Morning all.

Missed out on at least 2 units last night, as my PC crashed at 1:25am and I didn't get up till gone 9am... Bummer crying

My P4 is STILL working on this huge unit, will be tomorrow before it has finished I think.

Good Afternoon Team,

I have upped my crunching power - My Centrino 1.3 GHz laptop is now crunching 24/7 like my P4 monster at work.

Every little helps to hit those 100 million points by Dave's Deadline in early April.

And sending back more units and points

Gremlin2 really has got the pedal down, joining a few days after me, climbing above me on our team board - still I'm at 100% with my two machines and obviously climbing too - roughly 30 places or so since 9th Jan when I joined MOT

smile

Happy Days my fellow crunchers

feel free to visit www.justgiving.com/peterwardwchp - I am sleeping on the street on 28th January to raise money for the homeless charity for whom I work (11 miles away from where our Team Captain resides laughing) and if you wish to make a donation - so much the better!

and yes, I'm sorting my banner out soon

Never let what anyone else is doing bother you mate. All anyone can do is their best, and that's plenty good enough. The Centrino 1.3 running 24/7 will help. Like you, I'm just doing what I can to help the team hit Dave's target within the deadline. My stats aren't astronomical but, as you pointed out, every little helps. More importantly, what we're doing could help the people who most need help. Which is why we're here. smile

Good afternoon BuckShot. By my reckoning, you're about 7-8 hours behind the UK. Probably enjoying better weather, too. smile

Re: Panthers lead game at the half

Good morning team -- a very late start on the for me. It should be a decent day today. Our local forecast (temps in fahrenheit):

Monday: Partly to mostly cloudy and a little warmer. Highs in the mid to upper 50s. Clouds will increase from the west ahead of a deepening trough over the nation's midsection. While we expect a mostly dry day, an isolated sprinkle wouldn't be impossible later in the afternoon or evening.

Hi Dave!

The weather here's grey, overcast and damp, but mild for the time of year. In other words, yer typical British weather these day. No wonder the Romans all went back home. I'm surprised they hung around here for 400 years. smile

Hey! I should get the first star in my signature stats box by the end of today. That's gotta be worth a -

Have You Helped the Homeless

Hey everybody -- I don't know if you saw WardStar's post a bit earlier, but he is asking for sponsors for his homeless night out in the cold on January 28. He's going to sleep out that night with just a blanket and cardboard to raise funds to help provide aid to those who are without homes and must sleep out every night. Let's get behind him. Go to his website to find out more and to donate.
