Hi Graham --

Sorry to take so long responding to you. I have been in severe pain for so long now that it has gotten me very depressed. To make things even worse (if they can be), I took a spill from my mobility scooter a week and a half ago when one of the wheels fell into a hole that had been bored beside the sidewalk. When I fell off, I fell into a guardrail between the sidewalk and the roadway and hurt my arm and hip. The ulcer on the bottom of my foot has grown in size and is now about an inch and a half in diameter. When I try to walk on it, it feels like I am walking on hot coals. While it gets more painful, the nurses that come in daily to change the dressing tell me that it is looking better.

Please tell my friends that I miss them all and wish that I felt up to chatting, but I just can't because of the pain and the resulting depression.

Thank you for recognizing me with the half million point certificate. It is about all I can do to keep both of the systems running WCG anymore. If I sit at the PC, it is never much longer than about 10 minutes before the pain chases me back to the recliner to elevate my foot.

I have been watching the World Cup and was sorry to see England lose in the shootout. I had hoped to see an England/Germany final. Now, I would love to see Germany beat France in the finals. If that is the match up, perhaps we should send white flags to the French -- they seem to use them often when they face German -- LOL.
