No typo! I've got a screenshot of it. Last value for H-Bonds was -0.01. But max was definitely 0.00.

Re: A few unusual HPF2 work units

I'm not sure if we should still be reporting stuck work units, but I have one that is reporting 0.0% progress after 30h 22 mins.

Running UD agent
Device ID 67279
Athlon XP1600 1.4GHz
1GB RAM

I notice some crunchers have reported the time the WU was downloaded. How do I establish this?

David.

You can take the time of the last WU completed on that machine. You can find it in the Device Statistics of "My Grid".

Personally I use UDmon to cache WUs. (UDmon is not supported here in the forum, but it is working)
UDmon displays the dowload date/time of each WU in the cache listing.

Re: A few unusual HPF2 work units

Hi

I have canceled following units in the last days:

za078_ 00522
za052_ 00070
za078_ 00389
za051_ 00315

I can't currently check which version they are running (just preparing for vacation). These units haven't returned any valid results for anybody as far as I can see.

Re: A few unusual HPF2 work units

Hi there. I have never ever had a problem work unit like this before.
I am using boinc 5.2.13 with the latest hpf2 roseta program.
One thing I might add is that I dont have several work units going at once, I make sure only 1 wu is running at any one time. Perhaps this is the reason why you are getting errors, also, maybe the latest boinc version could have something to do with it, since the version I'm using isn't the latest available.

Re: A few unusual HPF2 work units

BOINC User ID 225561, Host ID 41341.

Error #12: za082_ 00735, returned 07/14/2006 02:03:33, aborted by user after about 2.75 hours of normal checkpoints and 18 hours without further progress (hey, I was gone) on a system that never takes more than 5 hours to finish a unit. 1 other copy with error, 4 other copies No Reply, 2 other copies still in progress.

This one was first issued on the 2nd and has been in play for 12 days.

confused Re: A few unusual HPF2 work units

I have been running my UD agent since nearly the beginning of WCG. biggrin However, once HPF2 I have not been seeing any results go back/get credited. My agent has been running for quite some time.

My Device ID is 330707 and Device Name is 8187-KLHRT06 and currently shows a talk run time of 4 hours and 40 minutes. It is currently 14 July 2006 11:44 EDT (14 July 2006 15:44 UTC, I think). I have seen it go as high as 80+ hours with HPF2 and have yet to see anything credited since 06/29/2006.

Re: A few unusual HPF2 work units

arg!! I spoke too soon!!
right now I have a work unit that's been stuck on 18.75% after just under an hour of running it, and it's been stuck for 11 hours so far, no errors or anything
za114_00557_2, using hpf2 roseta 5.7 downloaded on 7 July. Should I wait for the work to finish?
it has a deadline of 21 July
Perhaps I could upload to you the whole boinc/slots/0 folder. is there an ftp site or somewhere I could do this? at least then you'll be able to get some way towards finding out what the problem might be.

Re: A few unusual HPF2 work units

Hello whocrazy,
We are still debugging HPF2. We ran it for about 6 weeks BETA but buggy software shows up best on the grid with lots of work units. Just state the problem, give your device ID and the unit name (if you run BOINC), then terminate it. Here is Dagorath's advice: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=7876#64047
