0.0% complete.
can you post your user device id for the techs?

Re: A few unusual HPF2 work units

ud agent version 3.0 (2844)
device id: 326952
work unit: ud_7816614.exe ?
been stuck at 0 for 139 hrs crying
wcg_hpf2_rosetta using 98% cpu and 108k mem ? confused

I also have been running this same work unit for serveral days:

ud agent version 3.0 (2844)
device id: 155891
work unit: ud_7816614.exe

It is stuck at 83.3%. I have seen it showing over 24 hours of run time (all at of 90% cpu), but after a reboot I see it goes back to about 8 hours of "Task Run Time" the graph will start to work then after about 5 mins the graph no longer show values in the Solvation/Res-Res Pair/H-Bonds.

Re: A few unusual HPF2 work units

My laptop is running a protome folding task and was up to 122 hours and 85 percent done, I rebooted it and it then showed 6 hours 10 min of runtime and 80 percent done????

It now is showing 7 hours 12 min and is still at 80 percent?

Any thing I can do to save this data and move on?

I am running version 3.0 and the device id is 355905

(aside: I also seem to have trouble posting to the forum. if there are multiple posts with the same info, mu profuse apologies.)

Re: A few unusual HPF2 work units

Hello rlankfor,
It sounds as though at about 7 hours execution time your HPF2 program runs into an endless loop of some sort. Earlier today I read another reassurance that the staff is working hard on debugging and that Dr. Bonneau is seeking help from the experts at Rosetta@home. So it is being worked on. But you should terminate Wcgrid_Rosetta in order to draw a new work unit.

biggrin Keep on crunching!
Lawrence

Added: my090007, you should terminate as well.

Re: A few unusual HPF2 work units

i think i have a bug to report:

device info:
Agent Version: 3.0 (2844)
Device Name: Kelpweasel (Pentium 4 1.7GHz)
Device ID: 355660
Task in progress: Proteome_Folding_2

Description of issue:

this device is on pretty much 24/7, and returned many results for fightAIDS@home once it was signed up to crunch on that. Then it switched to work on HPF2. It crunched for almost 80 hours on its first task, apparently really working based on how the fan was running, but even after that many hours showed 0.0% progress on the task at hand. in the application information window of the interface, a molecule graphic was oscilating but all the variables (e.g. Solvation, Res-Res Pair, and H-Bonds) showed no numbers at all, just dashes. So, I rebooted the device. 4 hours 20 min in to the refreshed session, the exact same symptoms are displayed (zero progress on the task, blank variables, noisy fan).

hopefully my other devices arent similarly hung!

advise?
