Not sure whats going on. Coldest October and a warm November, in fact November was warmer than October. December so far seems in the normal range. So, who can tell ????? Finally broke down and put the first heat lamp up in the chicken shed, need to keep the water open.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Definately a weird winter so far. Being the first big snow this year, stay back away from the plows. A little rusty.

Seems par for the course this year. In Duluth it was awefully cold and wet throughout the summer, then we had a blazing 2nd half of August and September.

Yeah, Duluth can have some strange weather. I was up ther for the Port-O-Rama once on about June 20th or 21st, probably in the early 1970's. The wind was off the lake and it was 35F(2C) on Park Point. The lilacs were just starting to bloom. Up on the hill by Enger Tower it was about 70F(21C). I think you guys have your own microclimate sometimes due to the lake effect.

Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Some works stuff....

I propebly lost my office, söy kräppi...

Department I'm working was channeled, I mean hold department was shut down..
I continue with same job, but under different department..

It was quite slaughter, I did buy Xmas present every year to all here on Thule, so I remember that two years ago there was more workers here onThule than there is now left on hold Nordic block....

I miss my office, still have it but architech did let understand that I might loose it....
I have now öbaut 900 ft2 and my new one would have something like 150ft2...

On the another hand, I would get view to greenhouse...
My new one have window to big green house with class roof, so another hand I have green view year around and I can see start in the evening....

Well I would see start five years ago, now there is 24/7 gray..

Sorry to hear they are cutting back. Wow, 900 ft2 is a big office. bigger than the first floor of my house. To go to 150 ft2 is quite a downgrade. But at least you still have a job. The greenhouse should be nice for the winter.

Here we have some downsizing also. This year I had to take one day off unpaid. Next year maybe more. Always they are saying there is no money for anything. We will have to see what 2010 brings. At least I am still working.

We have finally gotten a little arctic blast here. -10F(-23C). We also got about 3in(7.5cm) of snow. Finally looks like winter. About 150 miles(240km) south they got about 12in (30cm) of snow, so not so bad here.

Cheers

I got it from my boss, but my boss was not moved to new organization, only me and another fellow, so he become ex -boss..
My new boss has cubicle so I though that it would not be good idea to present bill from relatively large office biggrin

Architect was not able to promise me new one. Reason behind of this is simply because he would need to found somebody to move to my current office before he could allocate this new space to me.
If there is nobody coming to my office, there is no reason order move to me and I can stay...

But to be honest, I would like to go back to greenhouse neighbor. My first own office was actually there and I really like that green landscape on wintertime....
