Re: Minnesota Crunchers

That heat out west must be brutal. It’s coming this way too around the 4th. I’ll be camping in northern Colorado by Thursday. Will be shutting down my last cruncher until I get back in 2 weeks. Looks like this summer drought will stay with us for awhile. Going to suck.

At about 2:30 PM CDT (19:30 UTC) we were blessed with a much needed downpour lasting about 15 minutes. We got .9 in. (2.29cm) of rain. Well needed and much appreciated.
Bearcat: Enjoy your trip.
Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Thanks. Got a nice down pour a little bit ago. Enough to create puddles in the yard. Doesn’t look good for the next week though. Hot temps coming in.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Had nice gentle rain for a while last evening and night. .7in(1.78cm). A real nice soaker. Now I am waiting for everything to turn green again.
Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Flew back to Minnesota for a few days for camping, thought we were gonna get dumped on. It rained on the way driving up north but after we got to the camp site it was beautiful. Maybe got a little lucky. Fun experience, I had missed being surrounded by so much nature. Meanwhile the crunchers crunch on. Good day.

Glad you had a good time. How were the mosquitos ? So far this year they have not been bad because it has been so dry. Now that it rained i suppose they will start hatching and we will be miserable in two weeks.
Cheers

Not many mosquitoes, but some flies and gnats. They weren't too bothersome though.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Our rain forecast near Seattle has just jumped from 7% to 30% for tomorrow morning! Am very hopeful, it definitely "feels" like it could rain outside but I'm not getting that fresh rain smell that tells me its just around the corner. Will keep checking though.

Hope you get the rain and the temperature abates.
