Congratulations. I cut most of OPN off after Uplinger posted that message about the researchers could only handle a certain amount. I am back to mostly MCM with a limit of 1 OPN per machine just to keep a finger in the pie with just an occasional ARP now and then. Maybe I will get to 200 for MCM. No badge for that, but the work still needs to get done.
Cheers

Fantastic! I'm working on my 20 right now, and it's a big leap to 50 from there.

Looks like you got your hands on a 3950x, that should help in the pursuit. Good day.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Pretty quiet lately. I see The MIP project has a projected end about July 15, so if you have that project selected exclusively, you might want to take note. Things are pretty good here, temperatures have moderated and we will hopefully see a little more rain tomorrow on Wednesday. Hope all are well.
Crunch on.
Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Here is an interesting number for the team's total years of crunching:
Total Run Time (y:d:h:m:s) (Rank) 4096:161:14:57:53 (#57)
That is 2^12 years of crunching.
Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

I don't monitor my machines too much other than to check if they have returned units in the last 24 hours. Occasionally, the wireless link will hang and I need to reset it. Other than that everything pretty much runs unattended. I did notice today I had 40 pages of MCM pending validation. It was down in the low 30's for a while, but now has started slowly building again. Makes me wonder about the work flow in general, or if I am just turning the work units around faster than average. The oldest ones are about 2 weeks old, so that is not too bad. I will just keep an eye on it and see if it stabilizes.
Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Just tonight I had the first of my machines hit a milestone:
x5670 07/15/2021 23:54:30 100:004:05:10:21 168,946,454 447,920
It is a 24 thread machine so this took a bit longer than 4 years of almost continuous running. It still has the original USB stick running a live version of Linux Mint. It has survived several power outages without being bricked, which I can not say for all of the USB sticks. It will eventually wear out, but for the moment it is still going strong.
Cheers

That's an impressive achievement for a single machine.
