big difference in run times/credit claims

https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/devi...us.do?workunitId=45386430

I crunched this one on an Athlon Dual Core 5200+ machine in about 19 hours. The second computer finished the same WU in about 5 hours. How can a Windows computer be almost four times faster than mine and claim such a relatively low credit?

Re: big difference in run times/credit claims

No, we cannot see but our own logs and result pages so thanks for the second post.

Find my "Blue Murder" post. There's something awry with the award logic, for CEP.

Re: big difference in run times/credit claims

After trial and error am 100% sure it's not power saving features / reduction in CPU clock speed. Per definition none of my devices [can] do this and certainly they're not doing it for CEP only!

Re: big difference in run times/credit claims

I don't think it's a specific problem of my computer. Sekerob above wrote about his "Blue Murder" post, where some examples for WUs with extremely different crunching times were mentioned, so I guess it must be something specific for this project.

I have also experienced the same problem.
