flensr, I upped my queue from 0.1/0.1 to 1/1 since the WUs take ~14 hours. Try unchecking MIP & MCM in My Projects to kick start getting the first unit.

Thx I'll try that. I unchecked everything but Africa rainfall, and upped queue numbers to 1.5/3

I am getting back into BOINC after about three years away (sigh, couldn't maintain my farm with the job I had at the time). Things have... changed.
It looks like individual websites for projects are not a thing anymore? Only hosted through the WCG website? The individual websites were good for looking at the server status and how many work units remained or had been uploaded. Is this a thing anymore? Across any projects? Thanks! |

Thx I'll try that. I unchecked everything but Africa rainfall, and upped queue numbers to 1.5/3 If you're still not getting any ARP1 WUs then you should suspend some of your MCM & MIP WUs and convince the work server your computer is hungry.![]() ![]() |

Remember that there isn't necessarily a continuous flow of work for ARP1. You may have to wait quite a long time (many hours) for new work to appear. I wouldn't set your machine idle.
But that's just me. |

Getting ARP1 WUs is a matter of timing when there is little work available. If there are some WUs in queue when your machine querys the server you might get some of them. If not then you'll get the no work available response if you have no other projects selected.

If there are any suspended WU's in your list of Tasks, the Boinc Manager will not fetch more work. You can confirm this by reviewing the Event Log after performing a manual Update of WCG.

You're right Dave, I meant abort.
----------------------------------------I'm not having any problems getting ARP1 WUs. Hopefully everyone will get their fill soon. ![]() ![]() |

Set your app_config file to <max_concurrent>-1</max_concurrent> for each app you don't want running and that will put them onto the ready to run mode even if they have already started.
