Re: Great Moments in Chux History!

You have my vote of confidence, Courine. You have to live in -your- skin.
I'm here to find a cure for my father's rare sarcoma of the liver.
Not to critique our personal lives. I want to be on an active team to increase the odds.
I personally don't think social or political philosophy or theosophy has ANY place in this search for cures. For better or worse, we are all going to live or die sooner or later.
All I can say is... walk in grace. you are ALL blessed for your participation here.
Let's just do the research. Deal with your inner demons on your own time, not your crunching CPUs!!!!! w00t!

Re: Great Moments in Courine History!

found this in my email today..

"Hi Sweetie!
I don't want to alarm you, but I have to go in for a diagnostic mammagram tomorrow. They found some calcification in both breasts that they wanted to double check. They said they are extra careful because I've had a lumpectomy. I'm sure it is nothing. I called them back for clarification on what I was having done & they said it is a mammogram, but a magnified one - 4 or 5 times the size so they can see in the calcifications. She said the majority of them are benign, but sometimes that is how breast cancer starts so they want to make sure. They said I will know what the results are before I leave the office. So I'll call you tomorrow. Just need some prayers. Thanks love ya! Mom"

guess a lil reminder of why we here doing what we do.

lol@cargod, your a Montanan too?! cool

and lastly.. do whatcha do Cour. Where you find your peace, more power to you. goes for everyone. regardless of what someone else thinks/feels/says about you. if you are happy, the responses are irrelevant. including this one biggrin "life, liberty, and the persuit of happiness" - some old dead guys.. wink

Hope everyone is well this holiday season. rose

I wish your Mother the best of luck in her tests and that they find all is well.
I am a native of Montana; but I spent a few years in Portland, Oregon & surrounding area and came back to Montana to escape the encroaching hordes trying to escape CA.
The biggest problem isn't the crowds (though I hate waiting in line for anything), but they bring their ridiculous politics with them and try to inflict their rules on the rest of us...LOL
I think we should have a Liberal migration to southern CA, then NUKE the San Andreas fault...watch it float out into the ocean. Then Hillary can be the first president of the Peoples Republic of California...and the rest of us can enjoy life again.

keep going, and going, and going

Yeap, one year is done! Finally!
Added one more CPU, nothing special, just another P4 based Celeron 2,4.
Got first validated results on BOINC.

biggrin Re: This team keep going, and going, and going.......

In January, I have a racing series that will be a spectial worthy of gladitorial times.

WCG SPORTS presents:
The 2008 Invitational Series

If you like, join in the fun! I write myself in as Jim McKay, and announce the races as anchor for WCG Wide World of Sports. It works better in some ways than the show did, as the crowd can interact with the newscasters.

What WCG gets is a fix to a problem they dont have time to look into right now. Due to a leagueless team structure system, with out some control in this area, purely open matches will burn themselves out after a short time.

The reason why I dont use our team name directly is that we race too. Anyway, once they have the time to look at what is here, the trasition to making it theirs will be easier. In return for this, we get some pretty cool ad space for the team.

biggrin Re: Great Moments in Roger History!

Now that I'm back from LA I'll have a play with my crunchers, it looks like it may be OK for our network if I run a few Cancer jobs all day as it 6-7 hrs crunching per result....

Yes, In fact you should have no problems now if you drop the DDDT project from your profiles. If you do have further issues about this, please email me.

Oh, and congrats on
