Last night was the first time I had seen the finished programme, an excellent programme well put together, which told just five, of the 16000 stories that could have been told. We must never forget any of them take care |

Yes Ted, I endorse exactly what you said. It was not only of interest because of your connection but a really excellent programme where it managed to get the tone absolutely right. I'm keeping it on my hard drive for another look.
I haven't seen a poppy seller yet either and the shop round the corner that previously always had them has changed hands and the new owners have clearly not continued the tradition. I expected to see one at Sainsbury's last Friday where I've always seen them in the past but nothing. I'll have to have a search around the High Street this week. |
