Re: The Formula One Thread

I can boast I once raced against Jenson Button.....and beat him!

To put into context, it was a couple of years ago in a duathlon (run/bike/run). It was raining too heavily and he couldn't risk coming off the bike so DNF'd. But nevertheless, I was above him in the final results. So there. In reality, I don't think he'd have too much trouble beating me, whether in a F1 car, on a bike, running or even swimming....

I hope he holds his nerve in Spa and rediscovers his early season form, so he can secure the championship. At least his recent dip has kept things interesting.

unpredictable micro-climate, oh yes!

We have been at the race at Nürburgring in 2004( or 3?). The end of july, the sun was shining, and we had 10°C/50°F on midday. Brrrr!

Re: The Formula One Thread

Will be in front of the box on Sunday but I don't take too much notice of the first day of practice. Every team has it's own agenda. Tomorrow will see if there have been any major changes in the pecking order.

Re: The Formula One Thread

That´s for sure smile

A stunning qualifying session at Spa-Francorchamps saw one team score their maiden F1 pole - whilst not one of the drivers in championship contention made the top three. Find out now who led the way in Belgium

Re: The Formula One Thread

Yes, a very interesting qualification. I wouldn't like to put any money on who will win tomorrow.
