I would like to see a Thursday practice thrown in though! It should be at the track of the upcoming race, Monaco, Valencia and other street courses would be a bit tough to do though. It would provide more income for the track and give more practice time for the Teams to work on the cars. It also would have provided a day for Grosjean and MS to test without having to be sneaky about it! This year has been very interesting but imho Thursday testing would have meant a faster catching up of the other Teams to Brawn!

The grid looks far more like last year. I think it's odds on Hamilton back on the top of the podium.

![]() For the 2009 season, the FIA are making public the weights of all cars ahead of the race start to help give an idea of relative fuel loads. The cars that made Q3 are weighed after qualifying, while the weights of the remaining cars must be declared by their teams shortly after the session. Below is the provisional grid for the European Grand Prix with each car's weight. 1. Lewis Hamilton, McLaren, 653kg 2. Heikki Kovalainen, McLaren, 655 3. Rubens Barrichello, Brawn GP, 662.5 4. Sebastian Vettel, Red Bull, 654 5. Jenson Button, Brawn GP, 661.5 6. Kimi Raikkonen, Ferrari, 661.5 7. Nico Rosberg, Williams, 665 8. Fernando Alonso, Renault, 656.5 9. Mark Webber, Red Bull, 664.5 10. Robert Kubica, BMW Sauber, 657.5 11. Nick Heidfeld, BMW Sauber, 677 12. Adrian Sutil, Force India, 672.5 13. Timo Glock, Toyota, 694.7 14. Romain Grosjean, Renault, 677.7 15. Sebastien Buemi, Toro Rosso, 688.5 16. Giancarlo Fisichella, Force India, 692.5 17. Kazuki Nakajima, Williams, 702 18. Jarno Trulli, Toyota, 707.3 19. Jaime Alguersuari, Toro Rosso, 678.5 20. Luca Badoer, Ferrari, 690.5 |

Yep interesting...
----------------------------------------the Brawns are quite abit heavier than the Mac Boys But just look at the fuel load that number 20 grid slot Luca Badoer, Ferrari has onboard , 690.5kg that's almost 40 kg more than Lewis . In English terms to put it in perspective what that weight means , the guy toting two sacks of spuds Might be a hidden strategic move here ??? ![]() |

As for next week, he better finish this race! He is over 2 seconds slower than Kimi in the same car!! Gene might have been a better choice if Ferrari were actually trying to get some points. Gene is also a Spanish driver and may have been a better choice for Valencia. Oh well, there is always next year! ![]() ![]() |
