Unable to upload work unit
I have 1 workunit that will not upload - it always fails with:
|[file_xfer] Temporarily failed upload of X0000042480723200412062043_1_0: http error

As other work is being uploaded/downloaded I don't think it's a network issue etc.

Suggestions ?

As other work is being uploaded/downloaded I don't think it's a network issue etc.

Suggestions ?

Presume you went to the BOINCmgr Transfer tab, selected the file failing upload and hit the "Retry Now" button, left side.

Exit BOINC, boot computer and restart is an all purpose, frequent problem solver.

Do you have more messages from the log including timestamps, so we can see what may have gone one before that. See stdoutdae.txt and stderrdae.txt files in the BOINC program directory.

Edit: underlined the important bit.... as in what the 5-10 line of the log showed before the first the upload failed.

I have the same problem with 4 Help Conquer Cancer units. They have all uploaded 52.66% and then stuck with the same error messages as robert1p.

This was following a retry on one of the units.

I now have 6 work units sitting in uploading status ... they all seem to fail after uploading 48.8KB.

Have reported this to the techs, and am still waiting to see the log part 10-15 lines from before the first upload failure.

Added: If you check the Result Status page and click on the Work Unit name to see the quorum detail, have the other copies been reported and what is the result of those?
