Est-ce que l'équipe 1 est prête ?
Sur ma liste j'ai : Little Mermaid, acpartsman, tanner2 et BladeD. L'équipe au sol se pose des questions, si le matériel va tenir, même avec une telle équipe ... Est-ce que pour la première fois, nous pourrions voir la face cachée de la lune ?  Is team 1 ready? On my list I have: Little Mermaid, acpartsman, tanner2 and BladeD. The ground crew is asking questions, if the equipment will hold, even with such a team ... For the first time, could we see the dark side of the moon ?  |

Sweet Dreams... Thank you, BladeD. They were   stefada, thank you for appointing yourself as the marketing minister of Base Camp. We love volunteers  Unpaid ones, especially  - well, otherwise it wouldn't be volunteers, would it? Yes! We'll walk on every uncharted part of the Moon  When the GRAND GALLA SNURK CELEBRATION trek begins September 1st I hope everybody will remember  SNURK'S services through the years, and the worries he must have had during this recent testing 'compliance' time .... |

Lost a little in results thanks to a no excuse power outage at the house yesterday but back full force as always. About the same thing here yesterday. The culprit: the power plug. After plugging it back in, I had some trouble getting BOINC to work again.  Of course, it's working now. (Had to re-attach something, I guess.) Thank you, stefada, for organizing the long trip to the moon. Have a safe flight! I'm assuming that you will report about it daily while the top40.nl trek is taking place in its own thread (here you can jump to the last posting). Some of us stay on the ground to follow the career of our receptionist Carol Beer:  Yesterday we concluded that we were halfway through the trek. |

Good Afternoon Base Campers!
stefada, I dont know where my head was this morning – well, yes, it was with the upcoming SNURK trek, whereas it should have been with our upcoming celebration of Man Walking Giant Steps on Moon … as you prepared for with such a cute chubby rocket. Does it have a place for Louloup? I'm sure he will instist on going Captain adriverhoef, please forgive me my distraction. Your very presence here made me wake up and try to concentrate on my Base Camp duties … Placing a picture of my role model Carol Beer is an excellent incentive My goodness, how can I forget Man Walked on the Moon? Why did Man stop doing that? We are still the same select crew preparing for a new era in Moon Walks - we’ll try Little Steps for Humankind this time and see how that works Crunching for top40.nl are: acpartsman davwhite5xq7 little mermaid NixChix Yodap@BC - and we actually do very well. We expanded our lead over Team Andrax in the Small Teams Race. Well done  – next:- The Mooooon! Of course, stefada knows that our moon vehicle has to land on the moon on the 20th of July and that someone will leave the vehicle and set foot on the moon on the 21st. (Just as a reminder, we should be following the Apollo 11 schedule.)
We are already flying, aren't we, stefada?  Can we have a guided tour in the space rocket while we're flying towards the moon?  That's the Control Cabin, right.  The control panel for the airlocks, right. Is it possible to have a nice look at our destination?  Awesome! Whoops. There's a problem. Somebody must have been pushing some buttons inadvertently and that action stopped the nuclear motor!  The constant acceleration of our rocket created a sort of artificial gravity inside and we lost gravity. How's it going, stefada? I've helped you a bit on your journey. |

Thank you for stepping in and taking the controls - if I may say so - at this critical point of our trek. I was never Star Wars or even peaceful sun, star or moon travel material, and I can see we have the very right captain for the job.  How lucky are you allowed to be? Very lucky, it seems  I have a feeling that our co-pilot will have a new haircut and Louloup soon will grow black spots   - my goodness! He looks like a schnauzer!Square nosed Peterbilts - square headed dogs - oh, where will this end  |

---------------------------------------- But in all seriousness, somebody needs to land this vehicle on the moon on the twentieth. Can we just don't stop believing that the long journey can be made possible with our French captain stefada? (If he needs this having translated, he should immediately call for help.) You're right on, Captain adriverhoef
- it may not have been on my first flight ever, maybe not even the second, but on one early flight they played 'Fly Me to the Moon' while we sat there waiting to roll out for take off. On another one it was Come Fly with Me That's back when there was still pride and peanuts One thing worries me a bit more that having stefada as the pilot on this trip - the plexi glass fish bowls they put over people's head Well, the other use isn't comforting either, but we'll hardly bring a cat with Louloup on board - and this is where stefada will say 'Louloup loves all cats'  |
